We´ve just spent our first day in Madrid... 36°C!

It´s been a relaxing day around Parque del Retiro, we have met so many other Young Pilgrims all sharing in our excitement from Brazil, California, Texas, Colorado, Bristol, Italy and France.

Getting to know the city and finding our way round in preparation for our World Youth Day events taking place this week has been a tiring day!

We are all getting ready for a good night sleep now after a Domino´s pizza (as seen in our picture below), and we will be collecting our WYD packs and passes tomorrow morning at 9.30 am.

All of us are looking forward to the opening mass tomorrow - it´s going to be a memorable experience.
