Helping those in need by making cards and crafts to sell.
Organise this project through your group meetings
Using old greetings cards make a new selection to sell in school/Church.
Think of crafts that could be used to make a stall at a SVP coffee morning planned for October/November 2010.
Decide on and plan a Group YSVP stall. You may want to sell crafts or cakes or think of something REALLY different.

2nd Sunday of the month
2.30-4pm
Meet at the Little Sisters of the Poor, Jeanne Jugan House.
Helping those in need by providing company for the residents living in care.
You will have opportunity to visit the residents, especially the people who have no family to visit them.
This may be chatting to them in their rooms or even walking them out to the garden if the weather is good.
At 3pm you can help to give out tea and cake and help clear the cups afterwards.
Finally we always visit Fr. Harry who is the oldest priest in our Diocese in his late 90’s. He likes to meet the youth and always has some wise words to share.
We finish at 4pm

Helping those in need by providing the chance to learn more about God
First Sunday of the Month
2-3.30pm
St. Thomas’ Church Hall
Helping with the JaCy Junior group.
This will involve helping them with learning about God and the Church.
They are from school age 2-6pm and many do not attend Catholic School.
Come in clothes that can get dirty as we often use paint, or messy activities!
You will be able to support them as they make friends and play, lead them with their project work, pray with them and supervise snack time.
